Raspberry pi....

Well I got my raspberry pi this last week.  I haven't done much with it.  Just uploaded rasbian wheezy and played a bit.   If you don't know what a raspberry pi is you should look it up.  

Fuel injectors....

Well I am still working on getting the gti running.  I ran into some issues with my fuel injectors.  The problem is that i can't find a cap for the end of one of the injectors.  Not sure if it fell off in the intake or if it was left off last time someone pulled the fuel injector.  So having lots of fun trying to find parts for my old car.  Here is a picture of the injectors pulled on the motor.

Gerber 14inch Camp Ax with a Long Turks head on the handle

So my buddy Gordon, gave me a really cool Gerber 14 inch Camp Ax.  I have been wanting one ever since seeing a YouTube video series about wrapping the handle.  Actually I got the inspiration for my Chilean Corvo handle wrap from the Ax videos.  Well since Gordon came over yesterday and we were finishing up some paracord slings for ourselves, I finished mine and decided it was time to wrap the Camp Ax.  Here is an internet photo, since forgot to take one myself...

So, it is made out of a really nice polymer and is actually hollow.  Making it lightweight and easy to pack around.  These are marketed by Gerber, but actually Made by Fiskars corp. from Finland.  Very good stuff. Even with all the colors I have  and that Gordon has I ended up just doing it black..  Hopefully you can see the detail even though it is all black.

 And here is the sling I just got finished with.  Camo and Brown.  Turned out the best out of all so far I think for the ending and being even.

Well That is about it..  My Birthday was last week and my wife Ashley made me a sweet cake that looked like a VW wheel.  I love her and wanted to share this picture as well.

Rabbit

Wow, how fast I forget to blog about things that are going on.  Well I bought a 1984 rabbit GTI  a bit ago.  It needs work, and I have been slowly getting it running.  I have big plans for this rabbit including a big motor swap eventually...

Well it has been a while since I Blogged...  We went to the Sand dunes just after the new year and it was a Blast!  Ashley got a couple of videos of me going up competition hill..  Here is one.  Yeah other than that, just chilling at home with my sweethearts and having a good time.  I need to post some pictures of shooting as well, but I need to gather the pictures first.  Should only take me a couple of days.








Also here is a nostalgic video of my brother in law Cody. Who is on his Mission right now and loves me enough to sell me his dirt bike..  Thanks  Cody!!

New Bracelets... I know that is all I do..

Well I was up late with the Baby again on my days off and decided to put some new cordage that I got over Christmas to good use.  I made a Bonobo bracelet with navy blue and a coyote tan I believe..  It looks really nice.  Ten I took some 1/8 inch braided cord that I bought and made a Solomon bar bracelet but I used 4 strands for the core and then the working ends.  It is a lot thinner than the paracord bracelets and is really tight. I love the look, but the cord is not as strong as paracord.  Still though I know it is at least 100 lb test and will be great material for survival.  there is almost 10 ft in this one little bracelet.  Well here they are.  Headed to the Sand Dunes in 2 days so I hope to post pictures and even Videos of that.

Lanyard for my sister

Well my sister wanted a neck lanyard for some reason so I made her one out of a crown sinnet and a long cobra knot.
